NBS Underwriting is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Duck as Head of Property Underwriting, further strengthening its leadership team as the business continues to invest in its underwriting capabilities.
Chris joins NBS Underwriting with over 15 years’ experience in the non-standard home insurance market, having held senior roles across leading MGAs including Towergate and Prestige. Most recently, he served as Head of Property Underwriting at Prestige for a decade, where he was responsible for a range of key initiatives, including the design and launch of a successful thatched property product. He also oversaw the implementation of Flood Re and Build Back Better, helping to deliver innovative and resilient underwriting solutions in a complex risk environment.
Throughout his career, Chris has built a strong reputation for establishing and maintaining profitable, sustainable broker relationships, underpinned by a focus on innovation and technical underwriting expertise.
In his new role at NBS Underwriting, Chris will be based within the head office team and will lead the continued development of the company’s property underwriting proposition, supporting both growth and long-term portfolio performance.
