Enhancing Our PI Proposition — Simpler Pricing, Broader Appetite

We’ve made a series of updates to our Professional Indemnity offering, improving pricing and expanding our appetite across key areas. Acting on broker feedback, these changes give you greater flexibility and more competitive options for your clients.

Rate Improvements Across Professions

We’ve delivered rate improvements across the majority of professions, reflecting strong portfolio performance and enabling improved pricing.

Broader Appetite for Survey and Valuation Risks

Our appetite for commercial survey and valuation activities has been widened, allowing us to consider a broader range of cases and giving brokers more options when placing business.

Lower Minimum Premiums

Minimum premiums have been reduced for design & construct (D&C) risks, accountants and mortgage brokers, helping support more price-sensitive and smaller placements.

Reduced Excess for Standalone Basement Projects

The minimum excess for standalone basement projects has been reduced to £10,000, improving accessibility and competitiveness for these risks.

Standardised Fire Safety Additional Premiums

We’ve simplified our approach to pricing fire safety exposure, giving brokers greater clarity and consistency.

These enhancements are supported by strong performance and disciplined, data-led underwriting, enabling us to deliver more competitive pricing and broader appetite across a range of professions.
