Our latest Contractors Combined enhancements are now live on the NBS system, giving brokers access to fewer referrals, wider underwriting flexibility, improved pricing and enhanced cover options.
Following a review of the product after its first 12 months, we’ve made a number of changes based on the risks we’re seeing and, importantly, what brokers have told us they want to see from the product.
The result is a Contractors Combined proposition that is easier to trade, more competitive and gives brokers greater flexibility when looking for cover for their clients.
Changes to our referral requirements will help us turn around more quotations quickly, while a wider appetite means we can now consider a broader range of contracting risks and activities.
There is greater flexibility across a number of areas too, including manual work undertaken within the EU, increased limits for Hired in Plant and the ability to consider more incidental activities alongside a contractor’s main trade.
Pricing has also been reviewed across Contractors Combined, resulting in rate reductions and lower minimum premiums across a number of areas, helping us provide more competitive terms for suitable risks.
Enhanced No Claims Discounts provide further benefits for contractors with a good claims history, while improvements to our cover, including lower excesses and enhanced PI options, give brokers greater flexibility when putting together cover for their clients.
Together, these enhancements make our Contractors Combined proposition more flexible, more competitive and easier for brokers to trade. With the quote acceptance period also extended to 45 days, brokers and their clients now have more time to consider the terms offered.
All of the changes are now live on the NBS system and available on new quotations.
Brokers can get a quote through the NBS portal, or for manual presentations, simply email your submission to us and our AI-enabled submission process will extract the information and populate the portal, ready for an underwriter to review.
