These figures cover only the flood element of the premium, with the total cost also reflecting other risk factors assessed by us. To support brokers and policyholders, we will continue to offer these premiums net of commission, ensuring competitive pricing. The increase in premiums is designed to ensure the long-term sustainability and affordability of flood insurance. When quoting on the NBS system, please ensure the inception date is entered correctly at the quote stage to produce the accurate premium. If the inception date is amended later, a premium adjustment will be required. We recommend keeping clients informed of these changes and encouraging them to review their cover in light of the new rates. If you have any queries, please contact our team on 0333 032 5000.
