We are pleased to announce an expansion of our Business Development function, designed to make it easier for brokers to trade with us and access the right support, when they need it.
The Business Development team has been strengthened with the introduction of Broker Development Executives (BDEs). This new layer of support will work in partnership with our existing Business Development Managers (BDMs), improving accessibility and response times for brokers.
Our BDMs manage large panels of brokers and spend significant time visiting and meeting with broker partners. While this face-to-face engagement remains a vital part of our relationship strategy, it can occasionally mean BDMs are not immediately available. The addition of BDEs allows BDMs to focus on developing and enhancing broker relationships, while ensuring brokers continue to receive timely and consistent support.
The overall aim is to make the development team more accessible and enable closer, more effective trading relationships.
We are delighted to introduce the following Broker Development Executives:
Georgia Hitchcox – Broker Development Executive, London & South-East – Many brokers will already be familiar with Georgia, who previously split her time between compliance and development. Georgia will now move into a full-time development role, working closely with Heidi to support brokers across London and the South-East.
Laura Aldridge – Broker Development Executive, Midlands & South-West – Laura has recently joined the business, bringing experience in account management and insurance. She will work alongside Jordan to support brokers across the Midlands and South-West.
Nadine Abou-Tayien – Broker Development Executive, North of England, Scotland & NI -Nadine will be joining the team very soon and will work with David and Jess to support brokers across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England.
All brokers will receive direct email communication confirming their primary development contacts. However, any member of the development team will always be happy to help.
Don’t forget, brokers can also continue to contact development underwriters or specialist underwriters directly. Calls and online chats are responded to by underwriters, ensuring informed and efficient support.
