Shewar Akhtar

Shewar is the NBS Team Leader for both the SME and Commercial Renewal Teams. Her responsibilities include, the development of renewal team members, training new underwriters, managing workflows, and prioritising risks to ensure the smooth running of the renewal teams.

Shewar joined NBS in 2018 but before this her insurance journey began in 2008, working in renewals. In 2012, she transitioned to a leading broker, handling personal lines for the public and brokers, so she has vast industry experience.
